LADIES INVITATION RACE IN MALAYSIA 8TH FEBRUARY

24-01-2008

Would you like to enjoy the chance of a lifetime to ride under Rules in Malaysia? The AJA have received an invitation for two lady riders to ride at Ipoh on 8th February. Travel would be to arrive on 6th February in Kuala Lumpur and to return home on 9th or 10th February. Sorry but you must pay for your own air fare (around £500) but everything else will be paid for by your host country and you will be very well looked after by the Malaysian Amateur Racing Association. If you would like to enjoy racing in the Far East, please contact Sarah Oliver immediately. All applicants will be given serious consideration!  Any winning rides abroad count towards your career total!

SARAH GAISFORD FUND IS OPENED

12-01-2008

Facilities are now in place for donations to be made to the SARAH GAISFORD FUND to help Sarah whilst she faces an uncertain future.  A bank account in Sarah’s name has been opened at Weatherbys Bank.

If you would like to make a donation, please make your cheque payable to THE SARAH GAISFORD FUND and post it TOGETHER WITH YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS (to avoid tax) to AJA, CREWS HILL HOUSE, ALFRICK, WORCESTER.  WR6 5HF

Or if you prefer, you can call at the offices of GORDON CHAMBERS, well known auctioneer in the West Country, at SAWDYE AND HARRIS, WEST STREET, ASHBURTON.   Gordon has very kindly agreed to act as a local collection point and will forward on your donations.  Again, please leave you name and address with your donation as all gifts have to be recorded here at the AJA before they are paid into the bank account set up for Sarah.

Sarah still awaits being moved to Odstock and thanks everyone for their get well wishes and messages of support.
