SARAH BOSLEY SNATCHES LADIES FLAT TITLE BY A SHORT HEAD!

01-11-2004

The ladies race was in jeopardy on 23rd October with torrential rain which fell relentlessy all day at Newbury, but in spite of the deterioration in the going, the race went ahead. With Kelly Harrison unable to finish in the first four, Sarah Bosley sprang a surprise win by a short head on SANGIOVESE for Hughy Morrison, which landed her the Ladies Flat Championship 2004.

Many congratulations to Sarah and also to Kelly for giving her such a good run, as well as the other ladies who were not very far behind – Nicky Wilson, Carol Williams, Emma Folkes and Serena Brotherton.
